1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using ShiftGrid ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ShiftGrid for the duration of your license term (one year from purchase date), subject to the following:

• Starter (Tier A) — Up to 3 assets, single user
• Professional (Tier B) — Up to 6 assets, single user
• Enterprise (Tier C) — Unlimited assets, single user

Each license is for use on one computer at a time. You may transfer the license to a different computer by deactivating it on the original machine.

3. Trial Period

ShiftGrid offers a free 14-day trial with full functionality. No credit card or account is required. After the trial period, a paid license is required to continue using the Software.

4. Payment and Billing

• All prices are in US Dollars (USD)
• Licenses are billed annually
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• License keys are delivered via email after successful payment
• Prices are subject to change; existing licenses are honored at their purchase price for the current term

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with ShiftGrid for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

To request a refund, email us through the contact form with your purchase email and reason for the refund. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days.

After 30 days, refunds are provided at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

6. License Renewal

Licenses are valid for one year from the date of purchase. To continue using the Software after your license expires, you must purchase a new license. We will send a reminder email before your license expires.

Your project files are stored locally and are never deleted, even if your license expires.

7. Updates

An active license includes all software updates released during the license term at no additional cost. After your license expires, you will not receive further updates until you renew.

8. Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Share, distribute, or sublicense your license key
• Use the Software to provide scheduling services to third parties as a service bureau
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the licensing mechanism

9. Data and Privacy

ShiftGrid stores all scheduling data locally on your computer. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your scheduling data, project files, or team information. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ShiftGrid or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Software, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
